Recycled manufactured aggregate is created when waste incineration bottom ash is treated using ADR separation technology. Manufactured aggregate is a functional alternative to natural materials, and its use can save virgin raw materials, ensuring their availability in the future. Scanwas INFRA 0/32 manufactured aggregate has a carbon footprint that is 7 times smaller than the average 0/32 crushed aggregate.
Scanwas manufactured aggregate can be used in place of sand and gravel in infrastructure construction and the concrete industry. Manufactured aggregate is particularly suitable for use in the lower structural layers of pedestrian and cycle paths, car parks, and storage areas.
All our Scanwas manufactured aggregate products are supplied with a CE marking. According to the new MARA decree (Vna 843/2017), MSWI bottom ash can now also be utilized using a notification procedure
